I met with organizers and concerned citizens from Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama who traveled to D.C. to rally outside the Supreme Court this week as the conservative justices appear ready to gut Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
My colleague Paul Blumenthal wrote about how this decision would have massive consequences for the future of Black political representation in the South.
