Kendrick Lamar announces ‘Grand National’ tour with SZA
The announcement comes as the rapper’s latest album debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart.
Kendrick Lamar isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.
The “Not Like Us” rapper has announced a tour to accompany his surprise album, “GNX.” The “Grand National Tour,” a reference to the 1987 Buick Grand National Experimental car, will be the rapper’s sixth concert tour. He will co-headline the tour with SZA.
Here are the dates for the “Grand National Tour.”
The North American stadium tour will begin in April 2025 and run through June. An eagle-eyed fan spotted a billboard for the tour in Minnesota this morning, showing an April 19th date for the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
The “Grand National Tour” brings pgLang and Cash App together once again, with the mobile payment service hosting the Cash App Card Presale. The presale starts Wednesday at 10 am. Tickets will go on sale Friday.
The news comes as the rapper’s latest album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, his fifth album to top the chart. “GNX” was released on Nov. 22, with contributions from Mustard, Jack Antonoff, Sounwave, SZA and Kamasi Washington.
2025 is shaping up to be a busy year for Lamar. “Not Like Us,” the rapper’s fierce Drake diss, is up for record and song of the year for the 67th annual Grammy Awards. The Grammy-winning artist will also headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
I'm so annoyed that they announced this after I paid my rent and made Black Friday purchases!
