Viola Fletcher, the oldest living survivor of the 1921 white supremacist massacre that leveled the thriving Black neighborhood of Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has died. She was 111. I had a chance to meet Mother Fletcher at the 100th commemoration of the race massacre in 2021, and it was incredible to talk to a person who has seen so much.
