Columbia and Brown universities are set to send the Trump admin detailed admissions data as part of settlements — including information about applicants’ race. This is a shift “that could profoundly alter competitive college admissions,” the outlet reports.

He explained that the Soul Train Awards and the Hip Hop Awards have been suspended indefinitely, confirming previous reports. I heard whispers of this news a while back, but couldn’t confirm it.

Black swimmers teach others amid history of aquatic segregation, CBS News
CBS News covered Black People Will Swim, a nonprofit that works to teach Black and brown folks how to swim. Founder Paulana Lamonier was inspired to create the organization due to the country’s history of segregation and lack of equity in aquatic spaces.
