Solid roundup. The ProPublica reporting on theCivil Rights office ignoring racial harassment cases is basically the predictable endgame when enforcment becomes discretionary. I saw something similar play out at a school district where I used to work, complaints stacked up and priorities suddeny shifted, everyone knew who was getting protected. The long-term cost is gonna be years of rebuilding trust, assuming that even matters to the people letting this happen.
